Message Board Pub Crawl

Last year we organised a Message Board get-together and went pub to pub, was nice to finally put a face to all these various names. Spoke to Sparkie and Stanleybabe today about organising another do, would anyone be interested in a big booze up? Meet at the Crown and head pub to pub into town etc one afternoon. Was a good do last year, although the turn out was a little unexpected!

Be good to go along with the majority, see what people post - dates etc. A Sat would be better for me too.

Really torn on this one, but there's drink involved (yes), and everybody supports Stanley (yes).

Is Christie's Child coming? The Chief? The various Hereford Bulls ( how original were they?).

Depends which Saturday really, do we come dressed as our avatar?

Re: Message Board Pub Crawl

There are some good pubs in Pompey, and you could pick up Urban Spaceman on the way down .....

No ?

OK, maybe when Stanley first at Fratton Park - could be as early as 07/08 depending on the next two weekends.

Re: Message Board Pub Crawl

Hi, been away all week with work and my room didn't have wifi (shocking) so couldn't get online to check messages. Sounds good then, but hope more people turn up than have posted on here. Harwood Red - think you were remembering the loo roll conversation (andrex sponsors...). How about a date then, sounds like a Saturday is the most popular candidate so to give peeps a bit of forward planning how about Saturday 20th May? We didn't come fancy dress as our avatars (I think I may struggle, and Kipax certainly would), but we did all wear our Stanley shirts. Meet at the Crown, at 1pm?

Re: Message Board Pub Crawl

The final has been set for Sat 20th May, also the date of the Stanley Message Board pub crawl. Is this going to affect anyone? I wont be going final, so not bothered but can move the date if prefered?
