Milk ad

27 years on and it's been remade with the original cast

Someone's recreated that Accrington Stanley milk advert with the original cast 27 years on - BT

Unfortunately Ozzy I doubt it, if I remember right we didn't have any copyright or anything on the original ad - could be wrong though

Stanley were paid a considerable or significant sum the first time around according to the club. They never said how much, we guessed about £10k (we as in members of the crowd discussing it at the time).

I also heard they tried using Tottenham for the advert first but they declined the offer...

I was under the impression that you could not use a Company name ie Accrington Stanley for commercial use without first seeking permission from the company in question and then paying for its use. The club cannot copyright the original ad, however, the name is sacrosant. I could be wrong though.
