Quite right, whenever I tell people where I come from, IE, on holiday, they always know of Stanley!!

After leavening Accrington I spent the first ten years having idiots trying to be funny by repeating "Accrington Stanley" “they use to be a football team you know” or the other one the T**** would come out with was "does the stagecoach still come to meet the train at Preston", ba***rds. I still hate that bloody advert.

Good call, Mike. This guy is very funny and his site is well worth a look. I've been popping in over there since our FA Cup match with Huddersfield last season. While not exactly flattering to all participants, his report on that game is a good read.
