missing shirts part 2

as a follow on from the Exhibition I am trying to put together a book/encyclopedia/onestopshop for all things Stanley.

I hope to gather pictures of items from all over the place that people couldn't or wouldn't use in the Exhibition. For example I know of some very rare old programmes from the 20's and 30's that someone very kindly offered to loan to us - but we couldn't possibly have guaranteed their safety and due to their value they never got shown. I hope to get scans of these to continue the 'One of every season' theme I have been trying to put together.

I really hope to get a significant number of all badges and all shirts pictured. I currently have 29 shirts imaged but I know there are more. If you have one of the following shirts could you please let me know via here if I can take a picture of it.

any with ZERI, Neild, Mafco Motors or Scott Alty Insurance (only the Neild one was commercially available but people always managed to get hold of a shirt )

Hollands away shirt Ellgren sponsor (yellow with green piping)
Hollands home ENS manufacturer
Simon Jersey away ENS manufacturer (white)
any goalkeeper shirts
any pre 85 unsponsored shirts

Same again goes for the badges, I reckon on there being around 70 badges and I have images for 60 of these. There are 3 pre 62 badges in particular that I want an image for so please give me a shout if you have any of these.

thanks very much for all your help.

If I can't take a picture of it myself then a scan or digital image if fine.

I see the OSC is still buying stuff at pre-exhibition prices on ebay, you don't need to spend silly anymore.

Nothing personal Rob just an observation, a badge bought using the OSC account name for £28. I've seen these badges come up before and sold for £4-£5 but if its you buying for yourself then that's your choice.

Re: missing shirts part 2

it went for way more than I wanted to pay for it to be honest - but what do you do? I have been watching ebay daily for over a year for badges etc and mostly got what I wanted except for two one day when I forgot to go on in time (you got the white MU style one that day). That is a badge that I haven't seen in that time although I don't for any minute expect it to be rare. One mans rubbish is a nother mans treasure or summat like it

I could use my personal account rather than the OSC named one it doesn't really make any odds as I account for it all any way and everything goes through my bank account except for OSC sold paypal receipts. We don't have authorisation on the paypal account for making payments so I couldn't if I wanted to.

..... but the committee appreciates your concern

I have a Scott Alty shirt and a Simon Jersey away ENS shirt, but they're in the loft and I haven't been up there in ages. I'll gladly let you photograph them, once I've tracked them down.

Items are still being bought on ebay using the name "accringtonstanleyofficialsupportersclub" - over £75 has been spent in the last couple of weeks. Surely, Rob, if you are buying these items for yourself you shouldn't be using the name
"accringtonstanleyofficialsupportersclub". Anything going wrong with a transaction and the Supporters Club will get a bad name. Buying items using the name "accringtonstanleyofficialsupportersclub" implies that it is the Official Supporters Club that are buying the items.
