Mk Don's
Correct me if im wrong but our very own John Miles who is on loan till end of the current season with Mk Dons, has still a year to run on his current contract with Stanley,so if Mk Dons want to keep him then a fee would be payed, as he is a first team member and seems to have settled in and played most if not all the games except the cup finnal, you could say hes been avaluble asset to the club as a hole in more ways than one,so with this in mind and i know hes not everyones cup of tea, what value would you put on his head so to speak,£100.000 - £200.000 some were in that region i would have thought. What do you think..

Re: Mk Don's
MK Dons are going to get promoted and therefore play League One football next season. They probably will not want somebody of Miles calibre so they will send him back to us.

Re: Mk Don's
Do you mean we pay Milton Keynes £100,000 - £200,000 to keep him? Hmmm........

Re: Mk Don's
You all might be right with what you put in your posts but the fact is hes playing in a winning team a breath away from going up and a chance of a winners medal for being champ's,Paul Inces likes J Miles other wise he'd still be here,

Re: Mk Don's
John Miles is also crap for the mk dons - read their own fans forums.
He is like a few mk dons players such as lewington and regan - crappy players who fit inces style of play.
he could not get in the team for his first 6 games on loan, and only recently has had a run in the team.
Against chesterfield on sky - he was awful. Its a shame, because he has the ability - no application or effort. The worst most annoying type of bone idol player.

Must admire your consistency over the season with regard to John Miles, particularly the play on words.

Apparently Oggy this is a Coptic "bone idol". Does anyone see any resemblance?

Re: Mk Don's
Caught The Championship on ITV this morning (although having seen the Barnet goals, kind of wish I hadn't). Anyway, MK Dons had a useful looking player on display. Navarro, I think his name was. Presumably a relative of the guy we bombed out a couple of years back.
Believe from the reports in The Non League paper (been buying it since Christmas in case I needed to reaquaint myself with the Conference or whatever it's called this week) that a certain Mr Welch has had a good few months at Northwich. Suspect D'Sane is doing ok in Devon and no doubt Boco will shine in the Eircom league.
Now, does anyone else see a pattern emerging?

Not really. Navarro was on trial, but was never going to stay with us. There's a whole other story behind the Dsane transfer, and Welch and Boco are better off where they are now.
I think it's easy to look for patterns, but there are better examples to use than these players.

Re: Mk Don's
look jon miles is a waste of space and was on at stanley because it was the easy life with all of his mates and a comfy 2 year contract.
we need people who have something to prove, no wasters filling up the squad.
