I think that it is a real shame that we haven't been able to sign Lee on permanently. When he signed on for Crewe I think there quickly followed a change of manager and it would seem that he did not fit into their new plans. I reckon that this has done his confidence no good and that he will need to be reassured of his talent. Since he came back to Stanley on loan he has only shown brief glimpses of his form from when he first played for us. Handled properly, I think that is likely that he could turn out to be a really good signing by Tranmere.
His potential as a match winner, with that wonderful left foot or 'Wand', is such an asset for any team to have. Even when his general form has been poor I have felt that he could always turn a game with one magical shot or cross from the wing. Good luck Lee, I hope that it works out for you in the future but NOT THIS SATURDAY! |
