Re: Morecambe - All's Well That Ends Well!
To be honest, anything other than a Acci win would have been a massive injustice.
Acci set up as normal and controlled the first half and deserved the lead.
Could not understand Morecambe putting their better players on the bench, and they just got bullied.
Different game when they come on,but Accis back four looked excellent and protected the keeper.
MOM for me was Shay, unplayable at times, everyone else were solid and did there jobs

Anyone buy a £4 "Morecambe FC Pie"
Kid in front of me got one and it looked ghastly dry. Looked like his plastic fork was going to break on it.
Tea and coffee £2. Served by Phylis Pearce.

Re: Morecambe - All's Well That Ends Well!
Am I mistaken or have I tonight watched a performance from the worst Morecambe team ever chosen to represent the Club ?.
That's it !..." For never was there story of more woe, than the team that let poor Jim down so !"
( with apologies to the other Globe Theatre ?)
KTF !.

Re: Morecambe - All's Well That Ends Well!
One aspect that was good last night was Stanley's discipline in the first hour when they only conceded two free kicks - one of those (Beckles holding a man down) looked a bit harsh.

Cn I be a pedantic old sod as I approach my 60th birthday.
It's CONNEELY not CONNELLY.
Our relatives over the sea hate that sort of thing.

Re: Morecambe - All's Well That Ends Well!
Looking forward to Saturday we're going to have to find a way of plugging a large gap in centre mid.
Can't see Seamus making it, Brown out, Davies injured.
Anyone for dropping McCartan deeper and putting Edwards up top ?
