What a load of old ballcocks. The bald-headed scouse tart Ellison purposely kicked the ball into the area of standing water and went screaming to the referee. When the referee subsequently abandoned the match Ellison raised his gloved hand (who's ever heard of a scouser wearing gloves because of a bit of rain? ) and waved towards the Clayton End grinning like a Cheshire cat.

Re: Morecambe Thread
Saw the FL show last night. Never have I seen a "waterlogged" pitch looking less waterlogged. Whatever got into the ref's head? Oh, wait...........

Read my thread carefully,BEFORE the dismissal,Ellison the bald extremely ugly specimen never approached the officials with any problem about the playing surface.......after half -time he deserves an oscar along with your manager another pretty specimen on a bigger scale than Ellison who constantly badgered the fourth official......hopefully the clock will return to twelve.

What porkies?
What excuses?
Funny how you didn't have a go at Bury last week who certainly wanted the match off!

Retardation is obviously epidemic in Morecambe.....There's a massive difference between a game called off before kick off and one in the second half. You can bet if you were leading 2-0 with a man sent off you wouldn't want the game abandoned and Ellison wouldn't be a Oscar candidate.

Re: Morecambe Thread
Not only disappointed with the game being called off on "the usual health and safety"issues(excuses)but what about the decision to allow those 20 or so Morecambe retards to come over to the Clayton End at half time and antagonise the home fans? They had no interest in watching the game, they were out for a confrontation, booting the metal fence and giving aggressive gestures! Surely they should've only been allowed up to the half way line,it's not as if the end was full and posed safety issues?!

Re: Morecambe Thread
Leaving aside the abandonment, can anyone tell me how the game was going, e.g. were we obviously on top before or after the sending off? For some reason there are no stats showing on the BBC report.
Returning to the abandonment, might it have been the right decision if we had happened to have been losing or a man short at the time? Only asking ....

Re: Morecambe Thread
I believe the game was very even in the first half,as you would expect Stanley came out with more venom at the start of the second half but didn't have long to prove it.Morecambe totally stage managed the postponement by Ellison turning deliberately to the only patch of water near the touch line and playing the ball in it and throwing out his arms and shouting at the ref,but this is only my opinion.
