Re: Morescum v Accy
Thought the accolades we got on the Football League show last night were excellent. A team punching above our weight (along with D&R). Were just a small team in Lancashire, but a proud team and proud supporters. Lets get the ground rockin' tomorrow against Bury. Here's hoping that a few more will have sat up and noticed how we are creeping up the league, never mind play offs, only 6 points off automatic promotion with a game in hand. I believe it is possible, just got to upgrade the ground. If the old Wimbledon (MK Dons when they played in SE19) and little Wigan Athletic can do it, so can Accrington Stanley. Just got to keep the team together, The belief is already there.

Just hope that he can make it to 1 or 2 more this season and keep up his good run!! Cheers Col, all the best for the New Year!!!!

Yeah, 12 points out of 12 for me. Great win and, as always, superb atmosphere.
The offer of accommodation from Harrow is news to me - that would be an interesting discussion before I set out for the match on Sat morning:-
Wifey: U staying at the usual B&B tonight honey?
Me: Nah, one of the msg board regulars is putting me up.
Wifey: Oh that's nice, what's he like?
Me: Erm, he is infact a she - and she lives in a one bedroom flat!!! (granted that last part is unlikely to be true, but it makes for a funnier story!).
I did however get an offer to stay at Willie Miller's place who I met at the York. Very funny bloke, tho kinda reminds me of Murdoch from the A-Team, in a good way of course ;-)

Re: Morecambe v Accy
To Interested Observer, as your thread has been closed, I shall reply on this thread. My apologies that my tongue in cheek referral of your town and football club offends you, but it really should not have been taken too seriously, however, in future I shall forever refer to you as shrimps or Morecambe. I too take offence when called an idiot. That cannot be taken as a tongue in cheek comment. As far as being antipodean, OK when I come from Accrington, live in Wigan (Greater Manchester) and have only visited both Australia (4 times) and New Zealand (once) I will leave that to you to decide. Funny though how only one of you complains yet Morecambe Red et al do not. They saw it for what it was, in jest, which once again I apologise for.
