Re: Morning tinpotters!!
More than that Jimbo. Only decided to go at last minute but what a game & comeback! York were far from cheated with a ref on their side-didnt book for a handball in penalty area despite awarding a peny, booked Gary for their no 9 sliding into him off the pitch & giving em a peny by same no 9, who also was elbowing Mullers all way thru game, for a clear dive-even linesman on our left wing shook his head & shrugged his shoulders when he awarded it in injury time. Justice was done when Rob saved it. A bit of a jeckyle & Hyde start but well overcome & must, with the Bauers- hasn't it gone quiet in the west country??? loosing & celebrations by the team at the end of game on hearing their result, have even convinced Coley that going up is now a likelihood & no longer a possibility. Just try getting a bet at any bookies for us going up now!

Re: Morning tinpotters!!
The typical foul play Mullers has to put up with game in, game out. Why on earth is he never awarded free kicks?

Re: Morning tinpotters!!
Now then, just thought you might appreciate the opinions from a fan of a club that does have more fans that flags unlike your good selves so you can see how a lot of us are feeling about the game

hilarious mate, the ref won you the game! I was stood a few yards away from that incident and the ball hit our fullback Price full on in the face! He was actually down injured for a minute or so afterwards. The only player that bothered to appeal was Roberts, maybe that says it all! After the pen there was only one winner, especially when bishop was apparantly pulled over down the other end (admit i'm relying on other people's views cos my view wasn't that good of it)
In the first half we should have scored more than two. Your keeper made a great save and kept you in the game when bishop was through. Other than your goal all you seemed to do was play long diagonal balls towards Roberts.
After half time the useless ****** referee changed the game. We've had this ref before against Scarborough and he was a joke then and cost us two points, the bloke is incompetent and if you hear the comments of our manager after the game (he's never really one to blame the ref) you'll hear exactly what we think about him!
Oh and whoever wrote about the incident with Peat on the other thread, a bit selective there fella, Peat got shoved into the advertising hoardings by Brown first. When Brown was being subbed Peat apologised and tried shake his hand but Brown decided not to accept it which was unsporting IMO.
Colourful away support even though drums and all those flags are just a bit tinpot. :engsmil: And we outsung you by the way
A draw would have been a fair result but that's football, well done for getting behind your team and see you in League Two next season

and if you'd scored more goals than the opposition all season then you'd be top of the league by 14 points.
Give me tinpot over 'proper' every time.

have you not got a grievance with the York officials over the banning of flagpoles. Have you not decided not to do any displays at home for the foreseeable future.

Re: Morning tinpotters!!
The penalty for handball was unjust, but the "push" in the box was not a push, it was shoulder to shoulder, 6 of 1 and half a dozen of the other. Oh, and Clayton Dolnaldson, get rid whilst you can, he's a dirty cheating, diving player will all the grace of a wino at last orders.

Re: Morning tinpotters!!
Twil be the first time in several seasons we have won a game thanks to a ref on our side! The linesman running at our end was surprised a t some of the descisions given your way several times & his look towards us fans & shrugging his shoulders when asked to challenge his "boss?" said it all.
As for should have-thats football mate, we should have bagged more with the extra chances we had too so on merit the result was a lesson in why we are top of the league. There are 90 minutes in a game plus fourth offficial time & its no good playing for only sixty of em cos its the latter that wins games-to the end. Div 2? Along with the other contenders, but for goodness sake get rid of the Kit Kat, its worse than your singing!
