Motivation

I wonder how difficult it is for a manager to motivate his team just five days after being humiliated and thrashed 8-2.
It must be extremely difficult to rebuild their confidence in such a short space of time.
There are no quick fixes but does anybody have any positive thoughts.

Re: Motivation

I'd have given em two days off to get over it. Having them in and working them hard wouldn't make an 'apporth of difference

That game's over gone, New Start from Now, Play to our strengths, keep it simple, talk to each other, play the ball on the floor, if in doubt boot it out row six of the Main Stand, don't be afraid to shoot on sight, lets get the crowd behind us acting as 12th man (I know the crowd normally do anyway)
Instill that siege mentality into them some how, let us dictacte the pattern of play not the away team

its not just 1 bad day though is it ???...and if i have a bad day at work i dont earn money, as my wage is based on performance, just like the players, so yeah i suppose i do get fined, but then again i never underperform !!!

Calm down, I couldn't resist it, anyway I agree with you why the hell should they get time off, they should have to all donate this weeks wages to the OSC.
