Mullers

At last a positive thread

Mullers is extremely close to taking Grimmys appearance record for Stanley. (Deffo less then 10 games).

What is your favourite Mullin memory?

Mine personally was at home to Aldershot when we won 4-2. I took my litle brother and as Mullin arrived at the ground in his suit, he procedded to ask "Are you gonna score today then?". Mullers just grinned and said "Ill give it a go". He got 2 in the opening 5 minutes

Oh and that Woking goal.....

PS: Well done Mully!!!

Re: Mullers

I think when we beat Barnet at home (4-0?) in the Conference was my favourite Mullin moment. Ball over the top.... one touch from Mullin.... and then lobbed the 'keeper. A quality goal.

Re: Mullers

in retrospect my favourite Mully moment was when we signed him.

The two overall lasting impressions Mully gave me were first when he came on as a sub in a nothingness cup match, the team had been crap up to that point and JC threw him on to rescue the match. i can remember neither the opponents or the end score but I was relieved to see him come on and he changed the game (never had him down as an impact player). Secondly the goal away at Bournemouth, a game we expected nothing from and had never looked like scoring in. Then we get a corner and Mully comes ghosting in to nod home at the front post. Not a classic goal but I enjoyed those celebrations!

Re: Mullers

I think you might be thinking of Fleetwood at home in the Lancs Marsden Trophy Macca, where we were drawing 2-2 and Mully came on and grabbed a hat-trick in extra time. Oh the look on Tony Greenwoods face as they trudged off
