My football club
Apparently, Myfootballclub.com is in negotiations to buy a club, with funds of around £1.5m available and up to 50,000 fans... see MyFootballClub.com close to buying first team - Independent Online Edition > News
MyFootballClub - Own the club and pick the team puts us fourth on the list, behind Leeds Utd, Notts Forest (not enough money for either of them) and Cambridge Utd, whose chairman pours cold water on the idea in the Independent article. Must say, I'm inclined to agree with the Cambridge chairman, though it's an interesting idea. |
