How can you possibly know the lad won't improve the squad? For goodness sake do him the courtesy of seeing him play before making such a statement

We need a forward.
I understand what you are saying about loan players etc. but we haven't looked like hitting the onion bag and so this is a decent move (especially if as others have mooted we need to look at playing 4-4-2).
Getting midfielders in when we have loads is not a good idea. Round pegs for round holes is good use of the loan market imho.
