New Fishy Webmaster

Introducing Lee Carter and his gorgeous assistant Julie aka AccyRed

As from immediate effect I am stepping down as the official Accrington Stanley Webmaster. Lee will take over and Julie will be doing the database content updates ect. If there is anyone in the house who knows PHP (or Perl) and MySQL databases then get in touch with Lee as a developer is required.

Having had 4+ years as Webmaster and Developer I have become bored and my lack of enthusiasm for web work is not good for the site.. My lack of any programming and web work over the last year means I have become rusty anyways. With nearly 15 years of web developement I felt I had enough. For the conspiracy theorists amongst you... The reasons are as stated and been a while coming.. No recent events have effected my decision.

I will continue to provide the actual web and email services for the club. ie somewhere for the wesbite to go and the email and domain administration. But the actual website is now up to Lee who I am sure will do very well

Web development used to be my thing.. Photography has slowly taken over and now thats my thing.. I can now go at that with even more enthusiasm

PS. Please dont read anything that isn't there.. Me, the club and Lee.. one big happy family.. Believe me

as for conspiracy theories, i think it is well know that the reasons behind this decision are that you wish to devote more time to training Shergar!

Re: New Fishy Webmaster

I agree with everything that's been said. This website is superb - far better than any of the so-called commercial sites of the "big" clubs. Thanks for all your hard work. Good luck, Lee.
