a quick google lets you know that Chester had him on trial for a month, and that Rochdale let him go after a year with 1 goal in 2 appearances + 28 as sub. Oh well, we know that Coley is good at bringing strikers and wingers on a lot so lets see what he can do with this one. Nobody reckoned much of Gary Roberts when his signing was announced!

at last we've signed a striker. i doubt he'll start on saturday but he should get a run out. now if only we sign a proven striker at this level in january we're on the way.... |

Leighton McGivern has played for Aberystwyth Town, Rochdale and Vauxhall Motors. It looks like Coley has been after him for a while. This is from the Observer
