Re: new player to sign on Monday

could be Alex Hay striker ex Tranmere.
we (Morecambe) had him on loan a couple of years ago and he scored 4 in a Trophy match against a team from much lower down but was struggling when he played in Conference games and didnt score any more.

As far as I know he's a very proven goalscorer at this level in recent times....

Very good signing if true Bring on Tomorra!

Official website states that David Brown has signed a two year contract, I hope that this isn't the mystery striker we have been after.

Most things are a mystery with Stanley, like the mystery roof, the mystery pre-season ticket, the mysterious disappearance of the groundsman, to name but a few.

As Monday draws to a close I am guessing I wont need to know where Burtons is.. Or if they have a big window

Well, we do have one new signing. This Bill Shakespeare feller sounds quite good. Didn't he play for Stratford United?
