New players Required - Accrington Stanley Mini Soccer Teams

Hello All, first post so please take it easy on me !

Accrington Stanley Community Trust (ASCT) are currently recruiting Under 7 and Under 8 players (school years 1 and 2) to represent the club next season in the Accrington & District Junior Football League.

We aim to give all players a solid foundation and understanding of Football in an environment that is player and child friendly, all coaches hold a minimum of FA Level 2 and FA Youth Award (Modules 1 & 2) have undertaken a CRB Police check and have at least 2 years experience of working full time in a professional capacity with children.

Training sessions will take place on Tuesdays between 6pm - 7pm at Accrington Academy on their new 3G Field turf pitch (the pitch should be completed mid August - we will then train all year round on the facility) with matches taking place on Saturday mornings.

Throw in the FREE ASFC season ticket, the full ASFC Samurai kit and mini matches at half time on the Crown Ground pitch during ASFC matches and all in all its not a bad opportunity !

We are ideally looking for young people who have never participated in grassroots football, who want to learn the game without any pressure while receiving quality tuition in a friendly environment.

We are not looking for the next Wayne Rooney and their playing ability level means nothing to us - the ideal candidate is a player with a pair of boots, the will to learn and the ability to have fun.

Our principles are strong - we are here to teach the game and our staff and coaches will NEVER place winning ahead of a childs development - In short, we dont care about results and league tables - let Sir Alex and Mr Wenger worry about that and we will concerntrate on making football fun for children.
