off asfc site

Stanley sign French goalkeeper
French goalkeeper Francois Dubourdeau has signed for Accrington Stanley until Christmas. The 25 year old shot stopper has played over 40 matches in the Scottish Premier League with Motherwell and Kilmarnock and has also had spells at Dundee and Forfar Athletic.

"Forfar Athletic manager Ray Farningham hit out at bungling goalkeeper Francois Dubourdeau after their 1-0 defeat by Raith Rovers.
The keeper miskicked a ball into his own net recently against Dumbarton and he again was involved in a critical mistake when he spilled a Steve Adam corner into the net for the only goal of the game."

French? Goalkeeper? Bungling? Have we been here before?

Shame that;Mclean would have been a top signing,he certainly makes for an interesting game but not too surprised that Grays weren't for letting him go.

Re: New signings today

Read in the League paper Sunday. Brighton enquired after Mc Clean, 7.00pm deadline day, and were put off by the asking price.
Looks like Coley had no chance of signing him, if so why did he not turn his attention elswhere? if we cannot sign a conference player, we have very little chance of signing a football league player, unless no one else wants them. Money and wages may be the problem.
