New song for Saturday?

How's this for a new song (to the tune of the Dad's Army theme - Who do you think you are kidding Mr.Hitler?

Who's gonna score all the goals for Accy Stanley,
now that Ian Craney's gone?
Will Jimmy Bell give the other players hell?
Will Johnny Cole find someone to score a goal?
Who's gonna score all the goals for Accy Stanley,
now that Ian Craney's gone?

Additional verses containing Gary Roberts or Shaun Doherty would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I know Andy Todd scores as well, but I couldn't fit him (or Paul Mullin) in the song.

Re: New song for Saturday?

I like it.

Not wanting to be too pessimistic but if the team don't get fired up enough we could sing " it's been a long time since we scored a goal" to the tune of Led Zep's Rock 'n' Roll...

Sorry, when I say "we" I mean "you". I'll be Christmas shopping (shudder).

That's right, it was a team, not just Ian Craney. It included Gary Roberts, David Brown, Romy Boco, Peter Cavanagh as well as Craney. I just hope that the new signings will be able to fill in for them tomorrow. Still, we can always rely on Toddy to put in a performance (hopefully with a goal).

Maybe if we find another goalscorer I can right a new verse. Until then, "The Song Remains The Same".

Anyone know if Boco's fit or not?

Re: New song for Saturday?

Boco not back til late Jan so I've heard.

Lets have some positive songs when we score today and not sing songs about if we can find another goal scorer!

C'mon boys.
