I have now somewhere I can take my lads meet up with friends have a few beers and watch Stanley how much better can it get? So come on townsfolk of Accrington get behind the club try it you never know you might just like what you see!
I too am relatively new to stanley like you attached my self to the club second season as season ticket holder its like watchin football of old blood n guts and more i got the bug and so have my lads man u fans we are as well but i wont to see live footie not just tv footie so come on support your local team and feel proud

I hope to see a return to collars and v-neckedness! maybe a splash or two of something darker rather than the white which is hard to wash out of the kids shirts.

Re: New Strip For Next Season

Would be nice wth the new kit to have a good range of leisurwear e.g. training shorts, tracksuits, player t-shirts and sweatshirts the range we had last season was rather limited!

Good point. I kept asking if those training tops the players wore were available to buy, but they didn't seem to be.

I don't see myself as a shopper, but must have been in the club shop a good few times last year, with readies, and came away shaking my head cos they had a load of tacky crap.

If the club, the OSC and this website could identify one or two " most wanted " items it's a win-win situation.

In terms of identifying more with the club I've outsourced a Kenny Arthur bracelet; Red, Black & Yellow.
Anybody spotting me wearing it can say, "You're Oggy, and I insist on buying you a pint".

(In the spirit of Stan Ogden, R.I.P.)

if the club don't do something then the OSC will look to move in. We are aiming to fill the gaps the club leaves until such time as they do develop something of their own.

Now I am confused as on the Surridge Website can't find a mention of Stanley Kit but new kits coming soon include Bury,Bradford and St.Johnston got to say the range of Bradford City Merchandise is mind boggling if Stanley can get a range like that I would be well chuffed!

Re: New Strip For Next Season

Official launch delayed to enavble a full scale media launch. see fishy.

all well and good but now we may start getting closer to the start of last season and that would be a disaster (night before first game anybody?) or at least potentially missing the sale for people going on their summer holidays.

A bigger launch is all well and good but how much bigger can it be than the two local papers and the website?

I await the new launch date

Well, they do say "early July" on the fishy site, so it's only being delayed by a couple of weeks. Whenever it is, I hope it's on a Saturday. 11.00am on a Tuesday morning was never likely to bring a flood of potential punters into the store. As for the "mega launch", let's see what Lew comes up with!

If the club is now launching early July why not use the Crown on the Sunday 01st July two launches in One! Buy a shirt while you have a beer perhaps have some food fayre on offer for people to sample could be lucrative?
