The only place it's currently on sale is the FE WorldChoice store. It's not even in the club shop yet. Must be part of an agreement that FE can be the sole retailer for the new kit for the first week.

Gets people across their threshold.

I believe the Fraser Eagle train subsidiary Grand Central is buying new engines for the London Kings Cross expresses. Why don't they publicise their allegiance and spread the word by naming them after the club, Eric Whalley, Sir John Coleman, Jimmy and its players?

Re: New Strip For Next Season

It seems there's a huff with my remarks about Nike -vs- Sewerage and I've been called a snob. What matters sometimes is how others see you. As one of three (as far as I know) Wolverhampton Accy fans; you're up against the rest of the World which takes the pee.

If you're outside the BB postcode wearing an Accy shirt it's still that bloody milk advert, "Who are they?". With a shirt sponsor like Sewerage, it's "...and who are they?"

I've bought the Away shirt to make sure some money comes to the club and because I'm proud to be seen in it. I think the Home shirt's yuck.

We have to be aware that Accrington is surrounded by BIG money clubs
who attract big money fans. It's amazing how many Man U fans come from London and claim to be local and vice-versa. They only follow them because they're big.

We can be big.

Please, don't knock your out-of-town fans.

We're not knocking the out of towners, indeed you and the rest of the non local fans are important, we need you.

I felt you were saying Nike was better because the shirt had a swoosh, and as such has prestige and coolness.

Nike spend a fortune on slick advertising, to make a cool image. They make cheap, shoddy clothing in third world sweatshops, they sell them for a huge markup, and arn't bothered if the clothing falls to pieces on the third wash.
Nike football shirts are "off the shelf" meaning same style, different colours. There is no distinction in style, apart from the Premiership clubs and top European clubs, who have the clout to enforce style and quality.

The Nike Stanley shirt was no diferent apart from colour to half of the Conference, League one and League two clubs.

By contrast nobody has heard of Surrage, but we had one of the best looking shirts in the whole football league last season. both my shirts are still in good condition, considering the amount of times they have been worn and washed.

Re: New Strip For Next Season

Thanks for your kind comments Redash.

I have to admit the Nike shirt came under attack from my cat and ended up with claw-marks, yet the Sewerage shirt resisted everything she could claw at it. Well, one of them anyway. I ordered a baseball cap and was sent a shirt instead by way of apology when the hat order went wobbly. This went in the wash with 'blue things' and the crest... didn't look so good. Big deal; I still had one for 'best'.

My new 'away' shirt's turned up and I'm pleased with it.

Up the Reds! (or the Dark Blue and Yellers)
