Newcastle fans and Norwegians?
I noticed three blokes wearing Newcastle shirts and black and white wigs at yesterday's match. Does anyone know if they'd made the journey down to watch us or were they locally based. Also there was a bunch of "foreign sounding" blokes there as well. Were they the Norwegian Stanley supporters?

Re: Newcastle fans and Norwegians?
We were talking to the lads in Newcastle shirts later on, they were wearing them in memory of a mate of theirs who was a Toon supporter.

Just doing my civic duty, helping a fellow Stanlyite to discern the origins of certain folk/cultures in response to their question, my dear D3N.

Re: Newcastle fans and Norwegians?
It was me and my mates, Steve and Brad. We're Stanley season ticket holders, but I'm a Toon fan, Steve is a Villa fan and Brad's an Everton fan. We all live locally, and love watching Stanley.
I had a friend in the US, a keen Newcastle fan, who passed away on the 26th of Feb leaving his wife and a 4 month old son. He was only 33. The lads decided to do this in memory of him, I'd no idea until just before we set off for the match. We're always in the Crown before and after a match. We were a bit tanked up on Saturday...
