The portakabin at the Whalley Road end often runs out of water, no idea what the supply is, but it happens far too much.

The whole ground has only one supply in via Livingstone Road, feeding the dressing rooms, the offices, sportsbar, Coppice End, kit room, Buzzers sprinklers and then the Clayton End.
If any people out there have a solution the Club would be interested to know!!

Rainwater, collected & stored in large tanks used for the toilets flushing systems & ground watering pumped in as required but with a back up of mains water as & when required.

Did this individual stop to think before his alleged torrent of racial abuse what effect this could possibly have on the club with respect to visiting guests, away supporters and directors, visiting potential sponsors/corporate guests and people from the media all sitting within earshot in the stand? I very much doubt it.
It only adds to the negative idea that Accrington Stanley are just a hillbilly outfit.
Talk about losing £250,000 at Yeovil!!!

Re: Newport County Match Thread
The way JC slates the fans in is video and to a wider audience in today,s Telegraph sounds like he is driving a wedge between himself and the supporters happened at Rochdale regardless of results to me only one outcome he will go at some stage no one is bigger than the club and it,s fans.

JC is on very dangerous ground indeed. If he continues to alienate fans, he can guarantee attendances below 1000. We may not be as qualified as he is but qualifications do not necessarily mean the job is being done well. His analogy is very poor indeed. I am not a qualified joiner - but I can see when a so-called qualified joiner is doing or has done a botched job. And I can tell the joiner. JC has chosen to do a public job so the public, even without qualifications, have every right to pass comment.
He now says it's the lack of shots that is killing us; after the Burton game it was individual errors that were killing us. Whose decision was it to exclude our leading goalscorer from the squad? And then to loan him out?
JC also says that the formation may have to change and/or the personnel. Who chooses the formation? Who selects the squad?
If he thought that we played well in the first half on Friday night, he was watching a different game from the one I was watching. We didn't play well - we played as badly as our opponents. But our second half performance was worse.
If he is building a team for the future, that future looks bleak.
If he finds it necessary to criticise fans in the way that he does, one really must wonder if he is in the right job.
The optimism that we all shared after his appointment has disappeared. Why?Is that the fault of the fans?

Well said Revived.
If people can't see how the current regime are destroying our club then they are wearing blinkers.

Good post RR.... You could have also included alienating several of the players.

No wonder the crowds are so poor, time for new leadership and a fan run club.

Im going to say it cos its a huge bugbear of mine, why is the OSC raising funds for the players dressing rooms? - when funds could be raised for improved supporter facilities, i.e. definite need toilets, clubhouse and portacabins - even plumbing if necessary. I thought the idea of a supporters club is to address and improve things for the supporters? In turn helps club get more satisfied paying support

Not been able to get an internet connection since game on Friday, so slightly late on this thread.
Cashy, when Davies signed I thought it was a good signing, having seen him play 4 or 5 times previously. What I've seen of him in a Stanley shirt isn't what I'd seen before and it seems to me is that he appears to have gone backwards since he signed. I'd question what specialist coaching has he been getting at Stanley (and if the answer's none, then shame on the management team) and whether Warner signing is a 2 for 1 in that as well as registering as a player, he'll do some coaching.

Re: Newport County Match Thread
Agree with a lot of that Revived, but I thought we played ok in the first half, defended well against a direct physical team and had reasonable success down the flanks.
I think the lads deserve a little credit in making a playoff team look so poor.
What does aggravate me a little is when people compare football tactics of Coley and previous management-- there isn't one !!!
We got out of trouble last year playing like Newport,long/direct/fight for the second ball ( I know that for a fact ),and it wasn't Stevo who was obsessed with that way.
Is that how people want us to play?,I sure don't.
Think Coleys made a big mistake not getting cover in for Terry, and wouldn't have let grey go until he did ( even if he doesn't fancy him as a target man).
I would imagine our main aim is to stay in the league whilst balancing the books, and if we do that it's another successful season for me.
Don't know about the books, but we will definitely be in this league next season.

Speaking for myself and not the OASSC spokesperson you were at the meeting and the supporters voted for the changing rooms. If you want your way use the virtual ticket money and your brick in the wall fund and whilst your at it please pay Coleys wages and then he's not walking up and down shouting he's not been paid.

With that tone I'm so glad you aren't speaking on behalf of the OSC! I was not at the recent meetings as the days has been changed, i can not make the meetings at the time req either due to commitments - despite being at most meetings since 2005 I've been a member!!!
Its not about my way at all - its about considering the whole of supporters - but NO decent working facilities esp loo's which is part of the supporter experience, surely its a concern for the OSC who are supposed to represent the supporters (clue in the name) ....oh ... wait ...it helps the club too btw, win win - just saying!
