Next Match Poster
Whats your thoughts on having a poster A4 size with details of the next game that can be downloaded and printed off for people to display in their cars, places of work, pubs, shops etc.
Will be good for getting the gate figures up next season.
I'm willing to do this every week and upload it
It doesn't want to be graphic heavy but what would you like to see on it if it is done?
Look forward to seeing your reply's
Edit - A quick Google found THIS ONE

Re: Next Match Poster
I think its a great idea. Put it this way it can't do any harm.
I can't find one on the official site neither, and I have never heard of there being one there, so maybe it's not working as it should.....

Re: Next Match Poster
I think it would be a start. Ive heard asked before but never heard an answer so I ask again...can the club not get something BIG on the side of the pub or that house next to it??
Im thinking the type of thing Burnley have, it would definitely get seen by a lot of people and im sure would bring in some new punters.

Re: Next Match Poster
Well I think I might do this anyway as I cant find one on the fishy site, wont do any harm if there are 2 posters available anyway will it?
Anything that can get more people to the games next season has to be a good thing.
All I ask if you can put a Yes or a No on here to let me know if you would download it and print it, I dont want to be doing one every week if no-one is going to use it

We need a bigger Club House or another very long bar so we can more punters in. Getting to the bar is becoming a little disconcerting, the guy behind me on Saturday had a bloody big smile on his face and I weren’t happy. I though he was after me wallet…..
Nice idea though. I think that we should spend the closed season selling the essence of Accrington Stanley to the locals. Too few shops and businesses demonstrated there commitment. More bodies will fill our town next season local business should be looking to keep them around after the game spending the least they could do is give over some window space and display a poster for their own, as well as the clubs benefit.
<O
There are more pubs on Whalley Road than you can shake a stick at, this summer I would love to see Accrington Stanley written large across all the frontages i.e. <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<st1:address w:st=" /><st1:City w:st="on">Stanley </st1:City></ST1flags and scarf’s fluttering on the breeze and a warm wet welcome to our league two opposition.

I don't see any reason why not. If the club is happy to back the idea and allow use of the crest I would stick a couple in the rear windows of the car the day before the game and then for the transit down the motorways home.....
I would love an England flag with the Accrington Stanley Crest in the centre or the top inner corner. Anyone know of anyone who can produce them?

That sounds like a great idea Doug. I'm sure I've seen somewhere that produces t-shirts to order. Maybe they do flags too. I'll have a look for it.
