Re: Next season??

Surely a choirboy must note that the quoted passage goes on "The sun shines on the righteous and also upon the ungodly"

Re: Next season??

My mother's quote was always "The sun shines on the righteous and shrivels em up."

All newspapers are a waste of paper, but i assumed the Sun was just people looking at the pictures mainly and unable to read.

Do they still have 16 year old girls on page 3?

Re: Next season??

Back to important debate ... i have no issue regards refunds on games missed etc. Stanley are possibly the cheapest ST around (notable exception at Bradford) and provide excellent Value For Money. MY club need the money so ive no issue with them not shouting from the rooftops that you could claim £50 back. We arent a club who blatantly rip fans off so its more than forgiveable.

I dont normally bother with a season ticket and the club profit from me doing so, but this season im happy to hand over the cash.

Re: Next season??

And while Im here I might as well ask ... could any of the Clayton End dwellers who DONT contribute to the atmosphere please be happy to willingly vacate their spot until normality resumes?

We WILL be raising the roof this season and with numbers fown we need to utilise every voice.

Macca do you think that with capacity going to be around 1500 for the foreseeable we will sell more season tickets or will the I follow option that will probably be on offer keep them around the same?

As an ex Clayton ender who moved to the Main Stand when the old hips had to be replaced I will continue to cheer and shout as usual wether I,ll will be able to leave my seat as usual to run about like a man possessed screaming at the ref or liner or celebrating a goal is another thing.

Re: Next season??

When supporters are allowed to attend matches albeit in limited numbers will we be allowed to shout, cheer and sing in support of our players? Research has been done recently comparing singing to shouting and speaking loudly and the results suggested that there was very little difference in the number of droplets expelled into the air around us. Yet singing is still highly restricted and has not been introduced into concert venues or churches.......????
