Re: Next seasons prices released
Nobody that follows Stanley goes to the Official Website first for news.
Nuff said.

Re: Next seasons prices released
Next season's prices, not unexpected, probably roughly in line with league rivals, although there does seem to be a generous discount for "early bird" tickets with several clubs. Also much better terms for "concessions" at many clubs, e.g. Notts County away, for a family, would probably recoup the petrol money.
Hard to compare "uncovered standing", as only Barnet seem to offer such a service @ £11. Slightly dissapointed with the new structure, and could be a season of away matches only for me.
I think £15 seated, £10 standing would have been an adventurous, and in the long term, more rewarding structure. (OK £12, but you know what I mean)
Really torn on this, but on balance think the £1 increase is a rip off.
On the other hand you have to pay for quality.
On the third hand, £12 would have secured Stanley a season ticket.

No, I don't think so either, but the £12 was a bit of a rip off in the first place, do we not get any credit?

Re: Next seasons prices released
Although I agree that prices are a bit steep to watch a game in what is essentially the 4th tier of English football, this is the way football is going. The game is becoming more and more money orientated, as the costs of running a successful club spiral.
Plus Stanley's prices still represent a significant amount less then their League 2 rivals. Clubs such as Bury and Lincoln frequently charge £16-17 and upwards to watch a game.
As a club we are caught in a catch 22 situation. The club have to have funds enough to compete, without charging amounts that can isolate suppoeters. I firmly believe that if it was economically feasible to let fans in for less then the club would do so.
In short, it's part and parcel of the game. Sit back and enjoy what you're paying for.

Re: Next seasons prices released
you could order the Accrington Observer through your local newsagent. It is made by the same group that does M.E.N. and Rochdale Oberver amongst others.

Re: Next seasons prices released
I don't want to buy the Observer. I expect to be able to read about pricing on the official website, as you can do for most other clubs. How very 'unproper'!!!

Re: Next seasons prices released
Last season's season ticket holders were allowed to buy a season ticket for the coming season at last season's prices. With the new price structure where will their new season ticket be for, the stand or the terrace, or as it was last season - where ever they want. If all last season's season ticket holders who have renewed at last season's prices decided that they want to sit down, that won't leave a lot of season tickets for open sale. Realistically the Club do not know how many season tickets they have available for open sale. Seems a strange situation to me.
