Re: Northampton Town

There seems to be a lot more to the Cobblers plight. Most of what I've picked up is from the excellent Hereford Bulls' News site where the latest report is that the club will miss this month's wages payments: Bulls News: Cobblers Set To Miss Wage Payments

The council has reportedly paid the club £10.5m but little of that has gone to to company building their stand. And their chairman's development company has gone into liquidation. Administration beckons?

Re: Northampton Town

Oh dear. Jed McCrory, an associate of Tommy Agombar who helped to kill off Hereford United, is now rumoured to be interested in the Cobblers:

Re: Northampton Town

Abit of a long interview but fair play to Chris Wilder, Must be terrible for the office staff not to mention the players and manager trying to keep players!

Re: Northampton Town

BBC web site reporting 'deal' secured with Kelvin Thomas to 'buy' The Cobblers. Interesting he was 'most recently' an advisor to Torquay United (and a lot of good it seems to have done them).
Just glad I don't pay my Council tax to Northampton.

Sounds a nightmare for all involved, and an all to familiar tale.
