Not Acceptable Behaviour

Accy Travelling Supporters

Just like to apologize for the acting of some So called CAFC fans on saturday. obviously it was a very emotional match for certain ppl and i myself was pi**ed off at the final score.

Hopefully you had a good safe journey home and i look forward to seeing you lot in the bar.

I know of most the people coming up to the interlink stadium of which none i believe where in the section of fans throwing stuff in the directing of the referee.

Hopefully we will have a good as game as saturday but i feel now, we will struggle as we our now short of a striker and midfeilder.

Nwanze shoul;d and probably be suspended and Fontana will i presume released after agreeing to sign for Conf South Side Lewes.

Once again apologize for the certain support after the match on saturday and we have been told any culprits found guilty of such acts will be permenanlty banned from watching Carshalton Athletic at Colston Avenue

Re: Not Acceptable Behaviour

Hey Mate, don't worry about it. The chances are the idiots involved weren't even Carshalton fans, just fans of surrounding teams turning up for one of your bigger games of the season. The Referee made a very funny decision, and We got VERY lucky. Carshalton were by far the better team, giving us no time on the ball, and constantly harrasing players off the ball all over the pitch. I really couldn't tell who were the full-timers and who were the part-timers on the day

Re: Not Acceptable Behaviour

Would like to add my apologies to Ringstead's. I've never seen trouble at Carshalton and it mars our image and our belief in ourselves when rubbish like that happens. Well done to your support as well, good to have a bit of banter and counter songs going on. I doubt we'll be able to bring as many up tomorrow but we'll do our best.

On to tomorrow night and may Carshalton (well they're the best team aren't they!) win.

Re: Not Acceptable Behaviour

By all accounts you were the better team on Saturday but I think (no change that to hope - fingers crossed cos I don't want this to come back & slap me in the face) that you'll find us more difficult on our own turf. Have a good journey up tomorrow

Re: Not Acceptable Behaviour

I dont think what happened at the final whistle effected any Stanley fans. Nothing to apologise for.

In fact most Stanley fans felt like apologising to you for robbing you of the result and to make it worse.. making you travel up here on a tuesday when I am sure a better approach will be made and you will go away empty handed.

I am sure there will be a warm welcome from the club and every Stanley fan on Tuesday. But don't expect a big gate. We will struggle to match the 600 you got IMHO

Have a safe trip up and I look forward to seeing any of you who can make it

Re: Not Acceptable Behaviour

having had to wait with your fans to exit the ground, while the stewards decided to risk the gauntlett of annoyance in getting the officials thru the 'tunnel' (pretty mild and civilised at that) - my only worry was that the refs report of the empty drink can that just missed him might land your club with a fine you probably can ill afford.
I agree with Kipax and left your ground feeling as if I were a Stanley burglar who just robbed the Robins. Us Accy fans are a fair minded lot and would have honoured your deserved victory, had not your red-carded lad given us a final chance.

Re: Not Acceptable Behaviour

I didn't notice any real trouble. Not surprisingly, a few things were thrown onto the pitch but I didn't see anything thrown at the ref. Verbal protests were only to be expected but the stewards (just like Accy's) seemed to do a good job and escorted the ref and linesmen off without any problems.

As far as Stanley fans are concerned, we were just gobsmacked at having got a second chance tomorrow.
