I left this a couple of days to see if it appeared on the fishy site but seeing as it didn't ......
in response to claims that 'a fans consortium' is planning to buy Accrington Stanley, club Chief Executive Rob Heys has come out to announce that Stanley is definitely not for sale.
This was on 2BR on tuesday morning in reply to the website that wants 50000 to buy £35 shares to buy a club.
Furthermore it was said that ASFC does not need fifty thousand people deciding how to run a football club as it would not be workable, in any case Accringtno Stanley will always listen to what its supporters have to say.
i thought it was just part of a rip off .if they want to buy stanley do a shares issue and work it out theylle have to spend at least a million quid to buy 20% of the club look at the players we could get then also sell shares on ebay dream world..
I wouldn't bother Doug. There used to be shareholders' meetings, but they haven't had one for years. It's just a piece of paper that is virtually useless.
