Is he referring to the ASFC statement or the Bees fans' complaints?

Re: Official club statement re Bee postponed match

Well done Rob (macca) for posting the post on the bees forum as it seemed to have diffused their anger.

It saddened me to read alot of their (understandable) ranting as I would've been frustrated after travelling all that way at considerable expense, only to be told it was off. But I also don't want it to go too far and hope it comes to a reasonable conclusion for both sides with the ticker reduction for the new date.

Met some great Brentford fans, had a good laugh with them and one of them even managed to get my OSC badge for his collection as he couldn't get hold of a ASFC one!!!! (it's a fiver for him next season I reckon )

And this whole debacle has made me really want to travel down to Brentford for the away match

Re: Official club statement re Bee postponed match

Got to say in all fairness to majority of Bees fans, despite their disappointment they were given the facts as posted today re the FA appointed ref who inspected the pitch at 10am & passed it fit & that the official who called the game off did so after their team had arrived at the ground. In the main most had come to te game as a first time visit with the history of us last playing back in 62 & wanted to see the ground. Common sense led to them being allowed in although their manager only put their viewpoint over as to the game being called off so late, which was unfair gven the efforts of ASFC & particularly Gary who was really upset at his efforts to make the pitch playable up to & beyond the refs decision. Unfortunately so much is made of health & safety these days which had a great bearing on the refs action on the day. Brenfords manager made a gesture of looking at help from their end with travel & Eric has played his part with assurance of reduced admission so lets drop the flak & leave it to the players on the day to finish the job. Rest assured that you Brentford fans who made the effort to meet up with us Stanley fans will receive the same warm welcome on your return-apart from during the match-LOL.
