Re: OSC Open Day.

If you want to have a stall at the Mela - consider it booked.

I can get you a face painter. She would have to charge, her usual rates are £120 for a day but you can charge the punters and get some of the money back.

I'll speak to Amran, the Arts Development Officer and see if he can put any workshops in - depends what's going on around that time.

Re: OSC Open Day.

Would there be individual stalls like a spring fair type thing and would individuals pay for their stalls?

Well depending on the cost we've got some jewellry/crafty/candley type stuff we'd like to sell. Thought of doing it on a one-off on AccyMarket but this might be better. The only problem is I've now realised that I think it's a Sunday (- is it?) and I'm otherwise engaged on Sundays.

Re: OSC Open Day.

Primary School Knockout tournament almost sorted.

Letters ready to go to all 33 primary schools in Hyndburn, first come first served 16 teams, unless 32 teams want to take part then we will alter. The games will be mixed, last 10 minutes, kicking one way only and will be 7 a side

The tournament will be sponsored by Apollo Insurance Services Ltd who have agreed (almost) to provide a winners trophy as well as winners and losers medals.

The winning team will also be given coaching sessions off Mr Coleman and/or a player next season and will be presented with their trophy and medals at the first home game of next season.

Re: OSC Open Day.

As regards the primary schools Football Knockout tournament teams are now starting to regiester and these include Sacred Heart, Mount Pleasant and Baxenden primary. Most schools will only have recieved the letters today and some won't recieve them until tomorrow, so the response has been encouraging.

Many thanks once again to Apollo Insurance for their sponsorship of this event.
