Re: Our Defence - Or Lack Of It
Hi, Stevenage supporter here! Just been reading through your posts and all... Anyway, from the east terrace on Saturday thought Bimson looked quite good, strong, and also Lutel James looked dangerous. Paul Cook in the middle seemed to be a problem for you. We have quite alot of pace in our side and he seemed to be a link that often couldn't keep up when we were forming our attacks. Also, your number 4 had a shocker, Williams was it. Anyway, clearly alot of your guys didn't turn up on Saturday and it was an early season blip.
Anyway, reading what a lot of you have to say about the game, quite rightly the performance of a few of your guys at the back contributed to the result. Anyhow, not that im searching for superlatives of anything because our side weren't great either, we have and can play better, but, were there any boro players in who you thought looked quite dangerous/ useful? Where do you see Stevenage finishing towards the end of the season after viewing them first hand?
Im sure you will recover after saturday and personally, at the start of the season, had you down as a darkhorse for playoffs - you have aquired a great attacking option in McEvily, and now boast mean wingers and strikers.
Cheers, Elkding
