Our latest 'keeper

If there's already been any comment about him on another thread then I apologise, but I've missed it.
I thought Rob Elliot's performance on Saturday against Alty was first-class.
Overall, a brave and confident showing from which you'd imagine he'd been in the team for years !

I agree. His distribution was excellent. He must have set up at least four attacks with his long throws out to the wing. And a clean sheet to cap it all. Very promising.

And heres me thinking that we all wanted Darren Randolph back in the new year. Now we really have a nice sort of problem on our hands. BTW if The management of this club are thinking of trying to persuade Wigan to part with Phil Edwards, I say good luck - an excellent addition he would be. Slight problem s regards Cav, but a nice problem nevertheless
