They are not permitted to favour some members over others with financial assiatnce as it woiuld damage the integrity of the competition.

It was the FA who placed the transfer embargo until the PFA loan was paid off, which is normal.

Savvy might be one description but it smacks to me of the rich relative who never visited the deceased parents but turns up after the funeral and takes all the best furniture.

It doesn’t in my opinion because Bury regardless of their EFL status had been thrown out of the training ground by Man City due to poor conduct and upkeep of the facility.

He played for MUFC so there are plenty of folk who would dispute that he’s done nothing wrong.

I've been told the same City only payment was that Bury looked after the facility ie up keep and maintenance ,I guess once Bury got in to financial Difficulty they we're asked to leave.
