Paint Pot cup match thread (Carlisle United)
Well how about a 1-0 win with a last minute proccy winner ?
Should be a winnable game this, they have just sacked kavanagh as manager.

Depends on what team JB picks,I would have thought fringe players may get a run out

Re: Paint Pot cup match thread (Carlisle United)
Teams often do well after a manager is sacked! And the Cumbrians have won the Paint Pot Trophy (in its previous incarnations), twice, and lost it once to the first "golden goal" (in extra time) against Birmingham.
It'll be a good test for both teams, but a win would be just the tonic for Stanley.

I think we need a moral boosting win and a good cup run, 2 very important home games coming up we need polnts on the board.

19 - 0. 18 from Proccy. Lumley on the half volley from a corner in the last minute. Beattie to clap the fans. Hysteria to grip Accrington!!!

Can understand managers giving fringe players a run out, but the bigger picture is that this is the road to Wembley. Forget the FA Cup, JB will probably field the reserves in that as all the big clubs do
