Re: Paul Cook
Leam is a very young not-quite-manager and would be FAR better served staying at a club where he knows he has stability. He would be given time by the club and the fans to build a squad in his own image. It would be fairly pressure free for him and "his young family" (used in mitigation by RH as possible excuse for him leaving)
Going to Chesterfield would be pinning his colours to Paul Cooks flag until such time as he can strike out under his own steam. He (they) would be given a very short time by the fans to get things under control, the board would give them longer as they wouldn't want to pay up their contracts. If things didn't pan out this season they would be unemployed and relatively unemployable - Cook especially.
Early on in a career it is important to develop and show what you are all about, if all you are showing is a willingness to move easily then your results must stand up to inspection.
Stay where you Leam and carve yourself a legend
