Paul Howarth

Does anyone know which club Paul Howarth has gone to after being released at the end of last season. I always rated him, but perhaps I was in the minority.

Re: Paul Howarth

He signed for Droylsden. There's an update on their site at http://www.droylsdenfc.co.uk/VIEW/2005-06/AUG05.HTM. He featured in a couple of their friendlies but doesn't seem to have played in the league yet.

I think it's a very substantial minority , John.

Among other things, Paul helped put another £100,000 or so into Stanley's bank account in that FA Cup run a couple of seasons ago.

A talented , if unorthodox player who will be remembered with great affection by countless Stanley supporters (including the armchair TV fans).
