Paul Mullin dirty beggar?
http://www.football-league.premiumtv...200626,00.html
Jason Lee dirtiest player in the league with 138 fouls committed and 18 yellow cards Paul Mullin second worst offender with 104 fouls committed but 0 yellows 0 reds and 0 penalties conceded
how on earth can this be? Surely he can't commit that many fouls yet never be cautioned? FA should look at facts like this and make decisions about how they award fouls against strikers.

He never makes a dirty foul, doesn't kick out petulantly or argue with the ref.
He must be the most fouled player in the league.
I do seem to recall him conceding an early penalty this season but can't recall who against, it was a trip at the Clayton end.

Re: Paul Mullin dirty beggar?
Do these figures include offside decisions? That might explain part of it.

and whilst we are on it, who actually counts these things? who sits there with a notepad and ticks every time Mully gets kicked?

Re: Paul Mullin dirty beggar?
most of these fouls will be offsides

Re: Paul Mullin dirty beggar?
Off side decisions cannot be fouls, however, if you watch a match, the number of times a ref will give a decision against PM for seemingly pushing down an opponent or jumping in to him is enormous. Arguably, from a Stanley point of view, it is PM being fouled, however, refs and assistant refs see it another way. Hey ho!

My mother does Everytime Mully gets kicked, shoved or whatever, she notes the time, date and the assailants name & address and then resolves to give the perpetrator a jolly good talking to

Re: Paul Mullin dirty beggar?
I don't know about Mullin being dirty, but if you go by red/yellow cards shown, then Stanley are the dirtiest team, not just in Div 2, but in the entire football league for the season so far. With 9 reds (more than anyone else) and 94 yellows (also more than anyone else) only Chester (7/85) and Boston (8/80) come close.
Outside Div 2, the nearest, I suppose, is Ipswich with 6 reds and 91 yellows (I wonder if Roberts is 'owt to do with that). Blackburn are the second dirtiest team in the premiership, but they have only managed a miserley 5 reds and 72 yellows; somewhat amazingly, the Stanley reserve team (aka Liverpool FC) have somehow managed to get through the entire season without a single sending off. Funny, that.

I regard them as the dirtiest team in England just sooo clever at avoiding the ref's cards most of the time
