PC's interview from last night

fishy site

wow. It's very rare that I 'lol' at anything, but Cooky's a comedian, brilliant.

Also very refreshing to hear a manager (any manager) not want to talk about a terrible decision no matter how much our beJewelled interviewer wants him to. Crack on Cooky.

Have to say that it's the most refreshing post match interview in ages. No moaning about decisions, just positive comments about his players. The reference to having a pint at the end to cool his head down was brilliant.

What a character he is! No wonder the lads want to play for him.

What an absolute masterstroke it was in appointing this guy. Thinking back to all the doom and gloom when coley left, it really did feel like the end of the world.

I would never say anything against JC & JB, but the timing of it all was a blessing for all concerned. We had gone as far as we could with them after nearly 14 years, they needed a new and well deserved challenge and we needed freshening up.

And boy have we be freshened up.

Well done to all at the club for spotting PC's potential and making the deal happen. A good player doesn't always make a good manager, but I think this one will.

No disrespect to JC, but Cooky played at a higher level and for a lot longer and it is evident from his signings and loan signings that he still has some excellent connections and respect from within the game.

The manager and his young team will learn a lot from last nights game and will come back stronger for the experience.

I still say next season is the flyer!!! Regardless what happens we need to back the squad up with some improved deals a lot earlier than we normally do.
