players

If we do stay up which players do you think will be released, in the observer it says that quite a few of the players will come to the end of their contracts.

Re: players

I would think that Sean Doherty is a cert to leave this summer. According to the papers Coley is speaking to Alan Rogers again this summer, though for the life of me I cannot think why. I think Andy Tretton may either a. Retire or b. be released. Shame for the lad, but it kind of looks like he may not recover from injury (Insurance claim?). But surely its not so much as who will be released, its who we are going to sign during the summer ready for next season.

Re: players

quite a few, but I wouldn't name names especially whilst we are still relying on most of those players to get us out of the situation we are currently in.

Re: players

There's about 5 players that I think have the ability for this league and thus should stay.
However if we can't bring in League 2 standard players because of us being ever so slightly brassic, we may have to keep the majority of the squad we do have & make the best of it.

Re: players

On reflection, I would like to see all the current squad retained for next season. Without the horrendous injury list, and the GK situation being v unstable, I believe we would now be pushing for the play-offs.

This season should be classed as a learning & adjusting period, and if we stay up, the current squad will be far better equipped to go on from here, and make a real impact next season.
