All will fall, to our football

I should, I suppose, as some sort of climb-down, go on now at length to describe the Zulu's well-planned and organised success at the battle of Isandlwana to satisfy your pedantic longings, but our Moderator would look upon this with some measure of displeasure I'm sure !.

But KTF... we will get the points at Newport County !.

I too considered those lines of action but despite a large quantity of Guiness and Whisky in preparation for tomorrow, I also thought better of it .
Despite that, while we should win easily on paper, the result may be different on mud. We can but hope that we do our best and get the result we deserve but we still require a big slice of luck elsewhere.

My thanks Yonmon!
Gratifying to know that someone on here appreciates artistic poetry when they see it.
Them Welshman can certainly hold a tune, but I think the Zulu Impies were much more melodic.
Oh yes indeed, boyo!

True
and 5 others also 2 points or less off
Blackpool's last minute penalty was not good news, though Morecambe's was.

Re: Playoffs
Got to be honest,
there are 3 rounds of games left
game 44 and 45 look winnable for all the teams on 62 points or higher invovled in the playoff hunt
game 46 is interesting,
wycombe play cambridge
exeter play carlisle
blackpool have the easiest run of games, as do Colchester (unless plymouth still feel they can win the title).
stanley have the hardest run in IMO
a team who are desperate for the win to stay up
2 teams fighting to stay in the playoffs
going to be tough

Re: Playoffs
Lets face it, it's all speculation.
If Newport do the double over us next Saturday, then it's all over.
However, if we win, we can carry on dreaming.
But even if we win all our remaining games, we could still just miss out.
After last seasons finale, that's the likeliest outcome.
