Just heard your good news, I am really pleased that the FA has seen sense for once.

You commited minor errors in paperwork and was punished accordingly (by fine).

Shame the FA did not punish others accordingly, instead they allowed a team promotion (Boston, if you can't guess) with far more serious offences, and then when your troubles emerged, their scumbag of a manager has the front to say you should be deducted points, (kettle & black come to mind).

I hope you now stay up and it's looking good for us to join you's next season.

Lets hope for all concerned that they get what they deserve and that is relegation and bankrupty.

Thanks for that.

Coming from near Skem I saw your team play Skem in the 1971 amateur cup final at Wembley.

At that time Accy were starting out on the long road back. Both clubs have come a long way since then.

Yes we have both come a long way since, i was not at the 1971 final as i was only 2 but have been to everyone since.

Unlike Accy, the daggers (or any of our fore runners) have never been in the football league. Hopefully we will secure the title and I would like to know whether you think there is much difference in quality between the two leagues. We are very similar clubs and i have been surprised that you have struggled this season. Obviously that concerns me for next season, although this saga probably did not help, hopefully you will get some sort of form now.

This is a faster much more physically demanding league. The players are generally bigger stronger and more street wise.

Mistakes that might have escaped unpunished in the Conference will be here.

In the summer review your playing staff in this light. No room for sentiment for or giving a chance to those who got you up. Replace any players who do not meet these criteria. If you start struggling it will be all the harder to get anyone in even on loan.

On the non playing side there will be a super added layer of Football League rules. They are complex. Take time to master them.

Thanks for the best wishes and I hope we meet next season again in League 2 but just to correct you - it was the Football League that saw sense and had nothing to do with the FA.

Glad you agree.

Something I borrowed for the day off our friends at Boston United. I wanted them to feel at home.
