Re: Plymouth Argyle (A) Match Thread

Or maybe it's to do with there being no wifi at Plymouth?

Re: Plymouth Argyle (A) Match Thread

some of you would blame the club if it snowed or if your bus was late.

give them a break.

football 19 summed it up, we where in the game for long periods but lacked a clincial touch.
It sounds positive to me.

Re: Plymouth Argyle (A) Match Thread

Can someone please tell me a reliable source where it says Coleman has fell out with the whole dressing room?

Its just peoples bull**** because we are on a bad run. A top keeper has come on loan because coleman sold him the club and the a top league 2 striker Terry Gornell has come back to the club also because of John!

It was an away game, were in bad form, the team arnt performing and heads are down but i believe that the next game at home if us supporters get behind the team then we can get at least a point on the board and start climbing the table again!

If we was in the same position with any manager then i for one would know or think of two people that have the passion and drive to save the club from relegation and that would be John and Jimmy and the fact they are here now i believe that they will succesfully keep us up this season. As for next season and the chairman thinking that this isnt the right manager for the club and decides to get rid of the duo then so be it ! However lets get behind John , Jimmy, The Players and The Staff and start climbing the table again!

Re: Plymouth Argyle (A) Match Thread

In the absence of the Fishy site, this was taken from the Sky web site on today's match. For what it's worth...
Accrington boss John Coleman said: "I am really disappointed. There was a 20 minute spell there in the second half when Plymouth missed a host of chances.
"Prior to that and after, that there was nothing in it. You could see two nervous teams who haven't won for a while.
"In the last 10 minutes you could see Plymouth panicking as we pinned them in.
"That's testament to the fact they haven't won for a while.
"But again we have undone by an individual error. It was disappointing because 10 seconds prior to that there was a foul on our centre half that was not given.
"When you are down there and things aren't going well for you, you get punished for that and then we have made a mistake to compound it. So instead of us putting the ball in there box, they put the ball in our box and we make a mistake and give them a goal, which is disappointing.
"Again individual errors are hurting us at the moment, in the last four weeks we are making mistakes and getting punished.
"The one crumb of comfort us that we kept going right to the very end and we could have nicked an equaliser.

It's no surprise that Sky's sub editors (if such exist) do not know there is a big difference, and one usually worth observing, between 'there' and 'their'.
