Poker Night 2 last night - Page 3

Well Ladies and Gents, it looks like we are gonna have a full tourney this Sunday, so it would be great if anyone fancies popping in for a pint and to cheer thier mates on, it can only add to the atmosphere!!

Doors open at 7 and tables open approx 7.45....................bar open till END of play (thx Rob!!).

Great nite boys(and girls), thanks for the game. Sometimes the cream doesn't quite rise to the top but we all know who the staveros was on this occassion....THE staveros!!! 3rd will do me OK, even if fortune didn't favour the brave this time. Nice that one of my entourage could take the main prize though. Lets have it right, we really are the boys!!!

Notice the higlighted comment though, not so!!! The staveros is a thirsty animal and unfortunately service was halted during crucial periods of play!!

Hope to see you all again next time, if you can take the gamesmanship on the chin of course!!! When pride is at stake im always serious so excuse me if I ruffled any feathers. I promise you im absolutly lovely really!! xx

First of all a big thanks to UK Cowboy, Sparkie, Rob, the bar staff and waiting on team for a great evening.

Having never played the game before i turned up last night just for a laugh, nowt to serious. I went on through to the final table and finished fourth complete with sunglasses and sombrero and won back the entrance fee a tenner...not bad at all!

I'm looking forward to the next one already, when r u taking names Pete?

p.s. you never did tell me where that pizza was from bud!

Thanks all for your support, glad the evening was enjoyed.

I will be setting up the next one in the next couple of days and will let you know when etc!!

Congrats to all who made the final table:- Spud 4th place + £10, Staveros 3rd place + £15, Plum 2nd place + £25, and Ryan !st place £40 + monthly trophy.

We raised £120 for the supporters club, so well done all and looking forward to next one!!
