Re: Pompey thread
Great first half. Battled through adversity. Top marks to Ripley, Billy Finley and Piero.

Re: Pompey thread

Re: Pompey thread
1 point...i'm happy. Could've been more so if Billy had netted the spotty.

Re: Pompey thread
Good result to come back after having a penalty saved, then going behind. Well done, Stanley.

Re: Pompey thread
I had the joy of listening to the one-eyed Pompey commentary team on Radio Solent - to be fair , by the end they thought we were the more likely to get a winner.
But it was weird to hear the Crown described as being in rural Lancashire.
Good point , though it could've been three I suppose

Re: Pompey thread
We were the better team after the first 25 mins. (Never seen a more one sided first quarter than that).
Might have only taken 4 points in the last three games but we’ve shown we are top 3/4 quality.
Overall a very good game with a cracking atmosphere. They were there for the taking late on but we tired a bit or just lost a bit of sharpness or something.
Finley or Kee were my equal MOTM.

Re: Pompey thread
I would add Ripley to those 2 for Mom, thought in first half hour he was immense.

Yeah, he was ace. Not just shot stopping but also commands his area well.

Re: Pompey thread
I thought Michael Ihiekwe and Conner Ripley were both immense today Pompey set of like a top of the table side full of confidence and if we had conceded early days things could have been different, but they didn't and at the end we were on top and could have pinched it fabulous atmosphere from both sets of fans in fact approaching the ground before kick off one Pompey fan said to me I love coming here great club and great fans unlike Luton who just whinge.

Re: Pompey thread
Revived Red - yeah, I comment on football I have seen and idiotic and needlessly inflammatory posts on social media I have read.
Is that ok?
