Enjoyed the game today, really good team performance and some excellent football played. We are match for any team in this league when we are on our game. Well done Stanley.

Re: Pompey thread
Still feel fantastic after that today, whole team performed today. Even first half both sides flashing the ball across the others penalty area. Good finish for Pompey goal and it started to feel like another one of them days as we wasted some good shooting opportunities. But then we got the own goal. A cross that beat the first man it seemed like for once! Second half carried on in same vane then Dion did excellently to score. Then stanley where all over Pompey with a good finish from Colby.
The whole team deserves credit for tea against an inform Portsmouth who gave us a good battle. We got the Clayton end rocking particularly second half. Fair play to Portsmouth fans kept singing and behaved themselves far better than Bolton and Blackpool. my man of match would be Dion Charles because I think he made the difference with the second goal but as I said I think everyone was at least 8 out of 10 today. After Bolton and today I have renewed hope for our season.

Re: Pompey thread
Thought Finley was very poor first half, he was much better second imho.

Re: Pompey thread
Finley and Seamus both seemed to toughen up a little bit in the second half, and look a bit more prepared to get a foot in. This wrestled control of the game in our favour, win some second balls, and launch our more free flowing passing game. Best performance I've seen in ages. Also definitely found our best strike partnership in a while.

To be fair, he didn't have much to do but pulled off a great save to stop Portsmouth getting back into the game

Thought he had a good selection of when to wallop the ball upfield and roll it out to hughsie also, thats doing a fair bit in my eyes, to me its common sense,
