the staveros is nice enough to do this without a big signing and without a roof on the clayton end terrace. your enthusiasm has convinced the staveros that another chance would be in order.
a generous man indeed.
this is your chance to get the staveros back on the hook so be sure to have plenty of cold draught budweiser awaiting and some speedy service.
most importantly though you need to let the players know that they are going to be blessed with my audience and that they should put on a performance fit for a king.

Unfortunately you will have to make do with the bottled stuff if you want Budweiser as the clubhouse has recently changed breweries, however we do have Kronenberg, San Miguel and Fosters lager on draft.

Re: Poor Gates
This is not a good start.
Those lagers you mention do not compare with the 'king of beers' and the staveros does insist on a pint of draught.
This is a serious setback before I have even arrived.
Maybe you could organise a barrel of Bud especially for me? 11 gallons should quench the thirst.
I wont tell the brewery if you dont.

Totally agree Kipax........If there was a GOOD Asain player... that was worth signing and would fit in with the team, this would be worth considering, as it may have a very positive effect on encouraging more to attend....

Re: Poor Gates
Man Utd and Everton and probably others have done simmaler with the Japanese market.... just by signing a player they make millions in shirt sales over there.... On a smaller scale your right Simon.. that would attract them in...
But as mentioned....they know where we are and on what day we play.... if they don't wanna come then they don't wanna.... I am sure in this day and age theres no worry of not being accepted.... Sorry but that side of it is bound to be asked..

An Everton shirt , you might see one in Japan but you won't see one in Europe.

Thats rich coming from someone in america, I bet you dont even know where analfield is.
League doesn't lie mate, we finished 4th you finished 5th.
We'd still be in the champs league but for bent refereeing, just being a 'bitter' blue though I guess.

There are three people from the general forum going to the match for the first time tonight, Sarah, Mez's baby boy and Mez herself who has bought a Stanley t-shirt for the event and looked very fetching.
Sadly it's sunny and not going to be wet.

Not actually my first time, I've already been twice this season to the Crown ground to watch Gt Harwood which is why I was there on Tuesday night, to support Harwood (which obviously didn't do them any good). Previously also visited back in the day when Accy weren't quite as good as they are now and use to play in the same divisions as Lancaster City.
