For those that want to save a little time on match day (you'll need to buy tickets prior to entering the ground); we have match tickets here at the Club.

Re: Portsmouth away travel

And if you don't already have your tickets from Mr.T, you'll need to buy them at the furthest point from the away fans' entrance.

.... so get there in time to go from ticket booth to away end via a minor detour for a pint in the Shepherd's Crook!

Mr.T,
It says on the Stanley web site that there are no cash sales at Fratton Park on Saturday !
Portsmouth tickets ? Accrington Stanley FC

Does that mean no cash, but they will accept cards, or no sales at all on Saturday?
If the latter, it's a problem for we southern exiles as (after 30 minutes of wasted effort) there seems to be no way of contacting a human being at Pompey or of buying a ticket for the away end.

However, I've just rung Stanley reception and the very helpful lass tells me, after checking with someone, that there are cash sales at Fratton Park as usual.

I trust she's right and the web site is wrong.

Don't panic, don't panic...
Just spoke to an equally helpful lass at Pompey who confirmed that there will be cash/card sales at the usual ticket office on Saturday.

Re: Portsmouth away travel

Further info ....

I went to Fratton today to get hold of my tickets (it helps when you only live half a mile away ). The guy in the ticket office confirmed that 1) tickets will be available on the day and 2) the away end ticket booth has been moved and is now somewhere handy for the away end turnstiles rather than as far away as possible, the way it was in September.

So it's a lot more of a detour (all of 200 yards or so each way!) to visit the Shepherd's Crook between ticket booth and turnstiles, but still worthwhile
