Re: Posh face a trip to hell

well to be honest, your stadium was crap, your pitch was crap, the best thing bout accrington was the trip home wen we saw Stand Athletic, anyone know what happened to them because me and 2 others had a nice little look inside and saw he stadium which was nearly as big as your stadium.

Question Re: Posh face a trip to hell

You have to ask yourself something though to get a reality check POSH_DINEO. Where has your club come DOWN from? Where has our club come UP from?? Somewhere similar to Stand Athletic thats where...

Re: Posh face a trip to hell

Used to play on Stand Atheltic. One man wembley on sundays as my mate said it was an abandoned football ground. One week we turned up about 12 of us kicked about 6 footies over onto pitch from carpark, went through the turnstiles and there they were the magnificent Stand Atheltic playing Northern Foods or someone and probably realised we were the culprits cutting up the pitch every week. My mate is known for his white lies but that was hillarious. As for comparing it to stanley, posh - I think your slightly exaggerating. A bit of a sore loser.

Whys that? Coz he shows a bit of passion for the shirt he plays for? Or was it the fact he realised that its a game of 90 minutes unlike your team and grabbed our late winner?

That wouldnt happen as our centre backs dont 'eff up' as you so delicately put it, nor would Georgie Boyd be capable of scoring - thats the difference! I cant see where your coming from but I can see where your heading with that language.... troll

Re: Posh face a trip to hell

He didn't say anything, he just arrogantly stood infront of your support...
P.S you got ripped of for george boyd, £260k for one of the most overated players in the conference. He was crap at stevenage in big games and he was crap today. I'd have toddy every day of the week.

Anybody time how long that went on for ?
Nice display of flags Posh but not a lot of noise.
Then again you were being outplayed for the majority.
Couldn`t of had a better day for a trip to a lovely open plan stadium.
And no puddles to wade thru in the car park, keep your little posh feetsies nice and clean.
Welcome back next year.
Happy Easter.
Posh fans really did not seem up for it, it was an awful atmosphere from our fans. Without wanting to look to pathetic for excuses, the distance/difficulty to travel didn't help things, and the early goal killed any chance of most Posh fans getting into the game.

Was a good experience, just hope we got some decent photos.

As for the 'cock' thing, I'll now know how to take it next time one of my pupils calls me a cock. Slightly scared that one of you knows that I live in Sheffield...

Re: Posh face a trip to hell

is it me or does this thread not make sense??/ has there been some posts deleted??

I spoke to quite a few "posh" supporters before and after the match and they thoroughly enjoyed it except for the result, they were more miffed off with their back 4 not performing... but enjoyed their visit to our tinpot stadium and I had warned them about the pitch before and they commented after they thought it was in quite a good condition albeit not very level

To be fair, we came from pretty much the same place as you, we just didn't go bust when we probably should have done in the late 80s. We have no ground, no youth and not even a reserve side.

Apart from 2 seasons in the early 90s in Division 1, we have been very much a bottom division side since we entered the league 46 years ago.
